PTG Consulting - Hospitality recognized an opportunity to cross train their team of revenue management experts on current and trending digital marketing concepts, enabling them to help their clients develop complementary revenue and digital marketing strategies and opening up new prospects for the company to expand their service offerings for existing and new clients.
The Action
1AX was engaged to develop a one-day training program tailored to Revenue Management executives that was informative, engaging, and fun! The day-long training included content on:
Understanding the digital landscape
Digital marketing measurement and KPIs
Overview of Google Suite (Analytics, Ads, Studio, Search Console)
The role of revenue management in digital marketing
How to incorporate digital marketing into the revenue strategy
How to partner with their client’s digital marketing partner/vendor
The training was complete with games and real-life scenarios tailored to the client’s portfolio of hotels for the team to apply their knowledge.
The Results
The training participants could immediately apply their knowledge and offer their clients digital marketing tips and tricks. The participants walked away with confidence in digital marketing and made meaningful contributions to their client interactions, propelling total revenue strategies forward.
