Locale is a hospitality-driven boutique apartment-hotel brand that creates and manages thoughtfully designed furnished apartments for leisure, business, and extended-stay travelers.

Locale partners with owners and developers of modern urban apartment buildings in the best neighborhoods to offer guests the amenities of an upscale hotel with the freedom and comfort of residential living.

The OPPORTUNITY

Having recently closed its seed funding round, Locale was poised for growth and looking for marketing guidance as it prepared to navigate the changes ahead. The company wanted to improve its marketing plan, announce its fundraising, and take customer acquisition to the next level.

The Action

1AX partnered with Locale’s founder and CEO to define and refine its marketing practices, particularly as they related to a rebranding effort. Then we built on that foundation, developing content strategy for social media and email marketing, and creating and launching a more robust consumer acquisition plan. We also helped Locale announce its fundraising to the tech, hospitality, and real estate communities.

The Results

Working closely with Locale’s founder and team, we evolved the company’s brand and communications; in collaboration with an agency, we defined the brand ethos, pillars, positioning, and visual identity.

We created a social media best practices guide and fully revamped Locale’s email marketing plan—we configured website and lead generation analytics, defined KPIs, and built a custom dashboard for measurement. Our work led to a 50% increase in long-term lease lead volume and improved social media engagement.
